Personal Jesus Story

I was raised in a Catholic home attending church services Easter and Christmas. As a young child I would walk to the nearby Catholic church and sit by myself and just talk to God; I craved more. As I married and became a mom, I always craved a deep desire to know Jesus, but it was not until a couple weeks after moving to Georgia in 2000 did a real shift occur. A neighbor knocked on my door to introduce herself and handed me my first Bible and then invited me to a Bible study. God had answered my many nights of prayers, this was the beginning of developing my personal relationship with Jesus.

Passion for Heaven Is True

My passion for HIT is to be part of helping others to grow in a relationship with Jesus, just like I was given a chance. To be involved in an organization that helps others seek, broaden or strengthen their relationship with our Lord and Savior.

Career Experiences

During my professional career I was Master Stylist and Salon Manager, serving others and making them feel better about themselves always gave me joy. That passion to serve, to be the hands of feet for Jesus has opened doors for me over the years. I have had the opportunity to cut hair for the unhomed with Hope Thru Soap, serve families battling childhood cancer, assisting the elderly through Senior Services, supporting the Center for Children & Young adults (CCYA) by sponsoring a child each Christmas and preparing / serving meals for a shelter in Atlanta.

Personal Touch

I have been married for 39 years, and we have two adult daughters. I am passionate about health and fitness. I enjoy cooking, long walks, hiking, bike riding and reading. I love pets, especially dogs. I enjoy the beach and spending time with family and friends.
