Personal Jesus Story

I was raised in a very religious home and knew who Jesus and God were from a very early age, however, it was not until I was sixteen years old and invited to a Bible study that I heard the gospel for the very first time. I was overwhelmed by the good news of salvation – that Jesus died on the cross to pay for all my sins and I could go to heaven simply by putting my trust in Him as my Savior. So began my 55-year personal relationship with Jesus. It truly is amazing grace.

Passion for Heaven is True

What a privilege to have been a part of the small group where Heaven is True was born. After studying the Book of Acts and following the disciples’ footsteps, empowered by the Holy Spirit, called to be witnesses of Jesus to the ends of the earth, we knew He was calling us also.

Career Experience

My career experience, outside of being a mom, has included establishing and leading children’s ministries in several churches, and being an educator and administrator in a Christian school for the past 33 years. Having had the privilege of leading young children to Christ, sharing the gospel is a passion for me.

Personal Touch

I have been married to my sweetheart for 49 years and it has been quite an adventure. While he worked for corporate, we got to experience living all around the United States and began to build our family. We are blessed with three children and six grandchildren. I enjoy being in small groups, studying God’s Word, reading, teaching, antiquing, and spoiling my children and grandchildren.
