Personal Jesus Story

At the age of 15, my dad’s job took us to London, England, where I attended high school, and most importantly, heard the truth about Jesus dying on the cross to pay for all of my sin – leading me to receive that payment He made for me and asking Him to be my Savior. Since that day in October 1969, I have never wondered if I was going to Heaven when I die. I’m so very grateful for the person who explained the good news of the gospel to me.

Passion for Heaven is True

Because of Heaven is True’s commitment to share the good news of salvation through social media, I was drawn to playing a small part of such a significant endeavor. The privilege of sharing the gospel with those seeking truth and then providing resources to help people as they follow Jesus is an eternal blessing.

Career Experience

My professional journey has been focused on Christian education – teaching and administration in Christian K-12 schools and higher education. Leveraging these past 45 years of teaching the Bible and biblical principles provide a framework for collaborating in the growth of HIT.

Personal Touch

Fifty-one years of marriage to my beloved has taken us on an incredible journey of ministry opportunities – nationally and internationally. We specifically enjoy teaching on marriage, relationships, and leadership. God blessed us with three children and ten grandchildren. I love time with family and friends, traveling, and reading.
