Prayer for My Family

Heavenly Father, my family and I need Your prayers and protection in this season. Though it has been challenging over the years, I lift each of our needs to You today:

For my husband, M: Lord, I pray for his health and healing, for our marriage, and for safe travels as he works out of town. Bless his efforts with the truck restoration, and provide for our finances, especially during the slower season ahead.

For my oldest child, A: Thank You, Lord, that she is getting better. I pray for a renewed heart and mind, patience, self-control, and emotional stability. Bless her job, finances, marriage, and her new baby. Grant her a healthy, full-term pregnancy and a safe delivery.

For my youngest child, S: I pray for deliverance for her and her fiancé from alcoholism. Keep them healthy and safe. Provide ease and favor in planning their wedding, their finances, and on their special day. Surround them with Your blessings and protection.

For me, B: Thank You, Jesus, for my family. I pray for continued help with my weight loss, that I reach 160 pounds by February. Grant me rest, relief from burnout at work, strength in my marriage, and deliverance from depression.

For my son-in-laws, C & B:

• Lord, protect my oldest son-in-law’s employment. Strengthen him as a husband and father, fill him with hope, joy, truthfulness, and the desire to serve faithfully. Restore the light to his eyes.

• For my youngest soon-to-be son-in-law, I pray for deliverance from alcoholism, a calm and stable mind, and the ability to communicate well with my daughter. Bless his health, business endeavors, and provide favor and success as he takes over a business in January.

For our family as a whole: Lord, bless our safety, health, and protection. Watch over my unborn grandchildren, that they may be healthy, happy, and whole. Extend Your blessings to my elderly parents and even our pets. May Your grace surround all of us.
